History of Dominican Coffee


It is said that coffee was introduced in this country around the early 18th century. There are two accounts that tell slightly differing stories of this event. While the first account states that coffee was brought to the territory by a man named Gabriel, the second account claim that coffee was introduced in the country by Spanish immigrants.
